Specialist paediatric occupational therapy for children and young people who need support with daily living skills, sensory processing, coordination, development, independence and participation. We support families across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Appointments can take place at home, school, nursery, or other familiar environments so advice is practical and relevant to everyday routines.

No GP referral required. Families, case managers and solicitors are welcome to contact us directly.

Assessment, treatment and reporting

Our occupational therapy service can include one-off assessment, ongoing therapy, written advice, home or school programmes, formal reports and coordinated support with wider care teams.

Comprehensive assessment

We assess developmental milestones, daily living skills, sensory processing, fine motor skills, coordination and independence. Tools may include Movement ABC 2 and Sensory Profile 2 where appropriate.

Specialist treatment

Treatment may include sensory strategies, functional skills practice, fine motor programmes, developmental play, equipment advice and practical routines for home, school or carers.

Reports and programmes

Detailed reports can support applications for DLA, Education Health and Care Plans, equipment funding, care packages and treatment programmes for home, school or carers.

Training, manual handling and home adaptations

Training can be provided to carers, rehab assistants and school staff in handling, both therapeutic and functional. We can assess environments and tasks, then advise on equipment and adaptations required for each child.

Housing and adaptations assessments

Our therapists are experienced in advice on housing and adaptations, including planning for future care, supported living or independent living. We can work with planners and designers to maximise a child or family’s ability to live and function at home.
